Well folks in order to keep our links database up-to-date I have been monitoring sites that have been unavailable for over a month and have deleted these sites from the database. I will do this a few times a year and provide a list of removed sites here in the news section. If you are the owner/visitor of a deleted site and your site is back up or moved please resubmit your site to the database. Here is the list:

Hello there. It's been ages since the last update so here goes..........
I believe we have around 130 links in the database. Unfortunately some sites have gone off line for what ever reasons and I've had to delete them from the database to keep this place up-to-date.
I'm aware there are still many more zappa sites out there that are not listed in the database. So come on, spread the word or better still ADD A SITE.
Thanks for all the emails and support for this site. I hope you still enjoy using it.
Anyway, that's about it for now. I'll be moving house, well not just house but country over the summer so some submissions may take a bit more time for me to valuate and add to the database. Anyway, keep them links coming. All the best,

Happy new year all.
I have been quite happy with the progress this site is making. We have over 80 links in the database and I am certain that zappalinks.co.uk is now the premier resource for zappa based links on the Internet. Keep it up.
I've made some slight changes just to make things a little more tidy. There is now a form on the contact page - please give me some feedback.

Greetings zappa link buddies. I've been keeping a careful eye on the traffic this site has been getting and I'd like to thank everyone who has been using the site and I hope you find it useful.
Can I ask Webmasters who have their own links page to give zappalinks.co.uk a link too please? The more people who use this site the larger the database will grow.
Anyway, I'm off for a cup of tea - have a good one.

ADD A SITE form has now been changed. No longer do you need to provide a username and password. I've left the email field incase I have a problem validating a submission and need to make contact to solve any issue.
There's a few cosmetic changes I want to make to the navigation of the site and I will do that over the coming weeks.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's good to see people submitting links. Cheers.

The site has been up only 48 hours and we have over 40 links in the database. Thanks to all those who are adding links - keep it up.
I hope nobody has experienced any site problems. I have been tweaking a few things in the background so that may be responsible for any problems.

Some people have been sending me links which I do appreciate but the idea of the site is that people can add the links themselves.
I built the site with this in mind to keep it fresh and up-to-date. There are many excellent zappa link sites out there but rely on one person manually updating the site themselves. This requires quite a lot of time and effort for the site owner and naturally many of these sites become neglected.
So don't be afraid, click on the ADD A SITE link and submit as many as you like.
Once you submit a link, It get's put on hold so I can validate it (Check the address, Category, Description, etc) and then is added to the database. I do this daily. I'm also able to monitor links and should any listings have dead links I will delete the listing after a short time keeping the database accurate.

I'm working on some changes at the moment. The main problem is that on the ADD A SITE section you are asked for a username/password/email - I shall be removing this very soon as it is not necessary to have at this time.

October is always a depressing month. So I thought I would start a new project. I hope zappalinks.co.uk will be a popular site for anyone researching Frank Zappa related web sites.

There's lot's of bits n bobs to sort out. I'm not sure about some of the categories I've set up. Let me know if you have any ideas to improve the site.

I'll update this page now and then when new stuff is happening.
